Terms of Sale

1. Scope

These terms govern purchases from Podolis at podolis.com by adult customers with legal capacity to contract. Placing an order signifies acceptance of these terms.

2. Products

The products offered are described on the website at the time of purchase. We aim for accurate descriptions, images and technical information; contact us before ordering if anything is unclear. Our range includes ready-made insoles, heel lifts, partial inserts and foot accessories for personal use. These are not custom-made medical devices.

3. Prices

The currency and price applicable to your market are displayed while shopping and at checkout. Shipping is shown separately before payment. The price confirmed when you place the order applies; we may change prices for future orders. Our French prices are stated in euros including tax. Review the tax and shipping information shown for your delivery address at checkout.

4. Orders

Ordering involves selecting products, adding them to the cart, entering delivery details, choosing shipping, validating payment and receiving an order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel orders involving an earlier payment dispute, suspected fraud or unavailable products. If an item becomes unavailable after confirmation, we notify you promptly and offer a refund or exchange.

5. Payment

Full payment is due when ordering. Supported payment methods may include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay; available methods appear at checkout. Payment is handled through secure providers. Podolis does not store bank details. Refused or fraudulent payments may lead to suspension or cancellation.

6. Delivery

Shipping availability, fees and estimates for your address appear at checkout. Average processing is 24–48 business hours. Our domestic France estimate is 2–5 business days after dispatch. See the shipping policy for US and other destination information.

Large orders can take longer depending on supplier stock availability. Contact us to confirm timing for bulk purchases.

Carrier delays, force majeure and an incorrect address supplied by the customer may affect delivery. Contact us about a delivery that exceeds the stated time. After 30 days from dispatch without delivery, the order may be treated as lost and a refund or reshipment requested.

7. Returns and withdrawal

Our existing French terms describe a 14-calendar-day withdrawal right under Articles L.221-18 and following of the French Consumer Code; Podolis extends the return period to 30 days. Notify contact@podolis.com. Return products unused, in original condition and packaging. Customers pay return shipping except for our error or a defective product. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days after receipt and inspection, to the original payment method. The French hygiene exception in Article L.221-28 applies to qualifying unsealed products opened or used after delivery. See our return policy.

8. Warranties

The existing French terms provide the legal conformity warranty under Articles L.217-4 and following of the French Consumer Code, with two years from delivery to bring a claim, and the hidden-defects warranty under Articles 1641 and following of the French Civil Code. Contact us for claims. Applicable mandatory rights are not excluded.

9. Product use and liability

Ready-made insoles do not replace medical diagnosis or prescribed custom orthotics. Follow the product instructions. The existing terms disclaim liability for inappropriate use, use contrary to instructions or an unsatisfactory result involving a condition requiring specialized care, and limit liability to the relevant order amount, subject to applicable law.

10. Intellectual property

Website content belongs to Podolis and is protected by French and international intellectual property law. Reproduction, including partial reproduction, requires prior written permission.

12. Disputes

The existing terms are governed by French law. Contact us first to seek an amicable solution. They provide for consumer mediation if a dispute remains unresolved, followed by competent courts for Podolis’s registered office, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. 13. Changes

We may change these terms. The version in effect when an order is confirmed applies to that order.
