Podolis operates podolis.com, an online store for insoles and foot accessories, and is the controller of personal data.

Identification data: first and last name, email and phone number. Delivery data: full postal address. Payment information is processed by Shopify Payments or third-party payment providers, including Stripe and PayPal; Podolis does not store bank details. Browsing data includes IP address, browser type, pages visited and visit duration, through cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

3. Why we use data

  • Process and track orders and deliver products.
  • Provide customer service and manage returns.
  • Send marketing communications with your consent.
  • Improve our website and products.
  • Meet legal and accounting obligations.

Processing is based on contract performance for orders, consent for newsletters and cookies, and legal obligations.

4. Retention

  • Order data: 10 years for accounting obligations.
  • Customer account data: the business relationship plus 3 years.
  • Browsing data: up to 13 months.
  • Marketing data: until unsubscribe or 3 years of inactivity.

5. Sharing

Our existing policy states that Podolis does not sell personal data. Data may be shared with Shopify for hosting, payment providers, carriers for delivery, Google Analytics for anonymized traffic analysis, and marketing tools where you have consented. Providers are contractually required to keep data confidential and use it for the purposes for which it was shared.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR and French data protection law, you have rights of access, correction, erasure, portability, objection to marketing and restriction of processing. Contact contact@podolis.com to exercise them. You may complain to the French data protection authority, CNIL, at www.cnil.fr.
